There are vendors that we use in providing (or in connection with) the StudentSense corporate website, but which are not used in logged-in areas of the StudentSense Services. These vendors are listed in the second table.
Purpose: Branch enables deep linking between the app stores and the StudentSense app

Purpose: Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides StudentSense with servers, databases, analytics, and network infrastructure.
Information collected or shared: All user personal information and uploaded content, device ID, request data, and all logs are stored on AWS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. All personal data is encrypted at rest.

Purpose: Internal project management platform used to organise workflow.
Information collected or shared: Jira is a work platform where we organise our projects and manage our development tasks. We use it to document and solve bug reports sent by users as well as data access requests sent by users.

Purpose: Messaging platform for internal StudentSense and Nous Data Insights communications and notifications, emails, and documents.
Information collected or shared: Nous Data Insights teammates collaborate via Teams instant messaging and may share details of support requests and issues (e.g., bug reports, any other help centre requests, and data pull requests from teachers and schools).

Information collected or shared: Zendesk is a software used to manage support requests. When a user submits a support request or enquiry, an email address is required so that we can respond via Zendesk.

Information collected or shared: Stripe is a payment processor used to collect secure payments for our licensed users and clients. They store and process financial information provided to complete payments.

Information collected or shared: Site usage and IP addresses. We have requested “IP Anonymization.” We may share information like logged in/logged out state; Google Analytics shares back anonymized user demographic information. We do not use remarketing features to active users.
